I always consider a birthday to be the New Year for YOU! This is your day, your new beginning. I hope today gives you continued strength and passion to fight your fight against cancer. We love you!
How sweet to see my yummy birthday cake. The girls and I are going to my moms for lunch. Thanks for all the encouragement.Beverly, good luck today and when I get all my results back and a plan I look forward to having her to talk to. It will be nice to have my own aunt to give me advice. Lisa proud of your work out. SS
Good Morning! I know the holidays have us all scattered....literally, but I miss everyone on the blog. Hopefully, we'll all get back into some kind of routine soon. I need a routine, too, I just do better with taking care of myself if I have a schedule. I want us to get back to our commitments next week, too. So start thinking everyone.... Have a good Tuesday :)
Good morning. I agree on the routine thing. I am trying to get back to a little bit of normalcy. My birthday was grand. We relaxed all day at my mom's with a big lunch and my favorite chocolate sheath cake. THen Keith took us to chili's for dinner. I am very tiered today. In fact I slept til 9:00 and plan to take it easy today. Love you all. I will be thinking of my commitments. We lost everything off our computer. Lisa, if you know how to get my snow pics off facebook, feel free. SS
Pam belated bday, I was thinking of you yesterday. Hope you had a good day. I woke up tired today the holidays do take their toll, but I loved every minute of them. I think that is the first time I have ever been able to say that. I am with you Lori on making commitments, my yoga is way down and my bad food is way up. I got on the scales yesterday and gained 5 pounds. But I am not going to worry I know what to do about it. Well have a great day. I just talked to Mom and she feels good, the day after chemo. But she knows later in the week she will be tired and flu like. Love you guys
Glad to hear Beverly's day went well Monday. Does she have one more treatment to go? Norma is getting stronger, she doesn't have pain, her leg is healing well, she's just very weak. A PT comes in daily and does exercises with her. She said they will be back next week too, but maybe that will be it. I'm working on getting my stuff ready for a flea market booth that I rented. I get to move in Saturday. It's a huge hobby for me and if I make money...what a bonus! Of course, tomorrow is New Year's Eve, I want y'all to get ready for some commitments and one resolution for 2010 :))
Lori what kind of stuff are you selling at your flea market booth? and where is it? Yes Mom has one more treatment Jan. 18th. I twisted my ankle last night going down some stairs and I am limping pretty good today, just putting ice and rest. No work outs today... But we went to Garven Gardens last night a botanical garden on Lake Hamilton and the xmas lights were really neat . Well hope eveyone is doing well. Love you
Well, good morning. I am feeling better each day. I have gotten back to healthy food and it truly makes a difference. Shon,I am glad your mom is good so far. I know she dreads the side effects coming. Lori, have you started back to work. We had a trip planned to the coast with Candice and Seth. My doctor said it will be great for me to go. We leave tomorrow morning. It will be a good change of scenary. I will still check in from my phone. Happy new year!! SS
I just read the last two posts. Shon, sorry about your ankle. I have heard of those botanical gardens. I would love to go there. Yay for Aunt Beverly. She is almost done. Lori, the flea market sounds right up your alley. You are quite the entrepeuner. TTFN!

Wow, Pam, good for you! Have a good, safe trip! Shon, better rest and keep your ankle elevated above your heart. Rachel, good to hear from you, sweet thing. Back to me...my flea market booth is going to be full of stuff I've bought and no longer want- probably shouldn't have purchased in the first place. I've been shopping at other booths in NLR and stuff to get things to resale too. I just love it. I know it will be a lot to keep up with. The booth is just about 3 miles from my house, though, so that will be great. TTFN

We began our journey to support Pam, our cousin, sister, daughter, mother, wife and mainly FRIEND. She has survived colon cancer and from that awful experience we gained a new sisterhood through our blogging together. Pam's motto is STAY STRONG. It works for any life situation.
